Large incidents hit the news headlines and customers are often worried and concerned about their privacy, data and online identities. However, the press often focusses in the post incident activities as much as they do the root cause. In real-time the media will often critique how the incident was managed and what communication was provided to the public and customers alike.

But how do you deal with a big compromise of your systems? How do you deal with the impact of vast parts of your network being under the control of an attacker? How do you take back your network?

With years of experience in dealing with big breaches, Steve Armstrong will look at the different techniques that can be employed to plan, coordinate and communicate the remediation efforts. We will cover some of the aspects to consider and some methods of ensuring the work is conducted to the right standard. Most importantly, he will impart usable steps and plans that any organisation can use should the worst happen.
