(ECDL for Schools)

As part of our review we have decided to withdraw a number of qualifications including:
BCS Level 2 ECDL Certificate in IT Application Skills (ECDL for Schools)
QAN 600/6943/0

What does this mean for me?

Although we are withdrawing this qualification it will still be available for delivery throughout the rest of this academic year. We’ve made sure that the withdrawal will not disrupt any of your delivery this year.

  • Final date for purchasing credits for registrations - 31 December 2017
  • Final date for BCS acceptance of learner registrations - 31 July 2018
  • Final testing date - 30 November 2018.

This will ensure that your learners have plenty of time to complete their course.

We understand that you may have some questions around the withdrawal of this qualification. Our dedicated team are here to answer any queries and discuss the opportunity of transferring your remaining stock to another qualification.

What do I need to do now?

If you have any queries, then please contact us by email at or telephone on +44 (0)1793 417445.
