    Details:

System failures are inevitable. The more complex you make a system, the more likely that it will contain undiscovered points of failure. Therefore disaster recovery planning is a vital aspect of any IT system design. In this talk, we will discuss how traditional N+1 disaster recovery models are creating a false sense of security and look at some headline-grabbing IT failures to see if we can draw any lessons from them.

Over the last 30 years, he has also been an active emergency response volunteer in his home county of East Sussex; planning for and responding to incidents such as the Uckfield and Lewes floods, the 7/7 London bombings and the Shoreham Air Show crashes. This experience gives Tom a unique perspective on Business Continuity and Resilience

Tom helps your business reduce the impact of the unplanned; whether that is a cybersecurity incident or any other event that impacts your ability to trade or your reputation. He is also a regular speaker at business seminars on resilience and security.
