This is a joint event with the BCS Hampshire Branch, BCS Cybercrime Forensics SG, BCSWomen SG and Solent University, School of Media Arts and Technology, Computing Subject Group.

Details:

Join Catherine Sherwin for a discussion on why cyber security needs to be led from the top.  Business leaders often think that their biggest cybersecurity challenges are technical and leave it to their IT teams to manage, leading to a disjointed bottom-up compliance driven approach that fails to address the real areas of business risk.

By adopting a risk-based approach makes cyber-security accessible to the organisation’s leaders and ensures that the real risks to the organisation are identified and addressed.

The experiences and views of Catherine Sherwin, not only is well-known technology professional but as an inspiring role model, is most appropriate for the anniversary of the death in 1852 of Ada Lovelace, the first programmer.
