Event Abstract:

Almost every new technology arrives with a fan base claiming it will revolutionise life on Earth. But in a fast-changing world with a rapidly changing reality, individuals, businesses, and even governments are often only planning for the next month, quarter, or year. The far-reaching and seemingly limitless potential applications, impacts, and implications of a range of new technologies are contributing significantly to a disruptive landscape requiring new mind-sets and new ideas of leadership to help our transition to an increasingly digitised world.

In his presentation, Steve will explore the rapidly changing macro landscape, share perspectives on the critical drivers of change, focus in on how a number of exponential technology developments are disrupting business sectors, and explore the ideas and actions that individuals, businesses, and governments could take to help ensure a very human future.
