Bridget Boylan and Nicola Shepherd speak about Project Management success.

Synopsis

Two excellent speakers will draw on their extensive knowledge and experience to inspire us all to run better projects. Bridget shares her insights from a 30 year career of project and programme management. Starting out as a project manager is tough and you have to make your mark and deliver projects successfully. You are often running projects yourself with little or no extra resources – you are in fact a one-man band. Bridget’s hints and tips focus on the skills to acquire first, and how to run projects when you’re responsible for everything.

Nicola will add her knowledge and experience, adding an operations perspective. Mid way through your career, you’ll be running larger projects with a team of 20+ staff.

Bridget gives hints and tips on how to manage project teams with a mixture of staff and contractors. After several years delivering successful projects you’ll be asked to run programmes (groups of projects) managing multiple teams, with 100s of business stakeholders. Bridget’s advice focuses on how to manage multi million programmes spanning several years in length. There is something for every project manager to learn from this presentation – no matter what your stage of career.
