About the speaker

Stuart Ayres - Director of R&D, leading Online Education for Montague Place

Prior to his current role, Stuart Ayres had been teaching ICT and Computer Science for 15 years, previously working as an exploration geologist and an IT consultant. In his teaching career he has specialised in the effective deployment of EdTech and pastoral care.

His work at Myddelton College led to its inclusion in the EdTech 50 Schools report 2019. He is married with two children, two dogs and his ultimate ambition is to build an AI-driven, location aware robot capable of fetching things from the fridge on command.
