We’ll share how you can sharpen your PM axe more effectively.
Nick Duffill, Principal at Harport Consulting and MindManager Consultant
18:30 - Event starts
20:00 - Event ends
As a project manager (PM), you likely live by the wisdom in the expression, “Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I’ll spend the first four sharpening the axe.”
But most of today’s PM tools force the user to jump right into defining tasks, skipping over essential things like resources, stakeholders, and other elements required for a successful project outcome.
In this session, we’ll share how you can sharpen your PM axe more effectively by:
- Establishing a process that allows for valuable thinking and discussion before defining tasks and actions.
- Using advanced “mind mapping” software as a tool to support a seamless path from ideation all the way to a robust project plan.
- Exploring practical approaches for managing and visualising all your project-related information.
