Synopsis

Wrth symud tŷ, fel arfer mae rhaid cael gwared ar bethau, er mwyn ysgafnhau'r baich. Ond pa fath o bethau ydym yn eu casglu, a pham? A pham mae hi mor anodd gwacáu'r atig? Beth yw'r elfennau seicolegol a all ein rhwystro?

Dros y bum mlynedd ddiweddaraf, mae Uniper wedi symud tŷ dwywaith drwy adael dwy ganolfan ddata, a symud eu holl wasanaethau ffeiliau. Yn y sesiwn hon, bydd Stuart Estell, pennaeth strategaeth a phensaerniaeth TG Corfforaethol Uniper, yn adlewyrchu ar y broses a'i heriau. Bydd y sesiwn yn cael ei chynnig yn Gymraeg.

Mae'r sesiwn am ddim ac agor i bawb

When moving house, it is usually necessary to get rid of things, in order to lighten the load. But what kind of things do we collect, and why? And why is it so difficult to empty the attic? What are the psychological elements that can frustrate us?

Over the last five years, Uniper has moved house twice by leaving two data centres, and moving all their file services. In this session, Stuart Estell, Uniper's head of Corporate IT strategy and architecture, will reflect on the process and its challenges. The session will be offered in Welsh.

The session is free and open to everyone.
