How to register

BCS members:
Registration opens August 2020 for November 2020 exam session.

Non-BCS members:
You need to become a BCS member in order to register for an HEQ exam.

Note:

  • The examination entry form should be used for non-standard venue exam entries. All standard venues will be available to book via the online facility above.

Exam FAQs

How do I pay for my exam?

You can pay by credit / debit card through our online registration system.

Where do I sit my exam?

You can choose from a list of local venues through our online registration system.

Registration opens three months in advance of the exam session sitting.

Can I register for my exam by email?  

You can register for an exam by email, please submit your completed form to exams@bcs.uk. The exam booking form for September 2020 will be available shortly.

Can I transfer my exam to a different session?

We can only transfer your examinations to the next available session, all requests MUST be made within 14 days of the date on your exam admission letter.

Please note: If your transfer is due to medical reasons, you are required to send us a medical certificate covering the dates in which you were due to sit your exams. This must be sent to exams@bcs.uk within two weeks of the date of your examinations.
