Professional registration for members of the UK Armed Forces
BCS has entered into agreements with the Royal Corps of Signals and Royal Air Force to promote professional registration.
The agreement with the Royal Signals is for serving members working in defence ICT tehnical and leadership roles.
The agreement with the Royal Air Force applies to serving members working in technical and engineering roles.
Both agreements mean your application will be reviewed by people serving alongside you who already hold professional registration and have been selected by BCS to carry out the initial assessment.
When your application reaches BCS you will be invited for interview. Interviews are carried out online by two assessors who may be people serving alongside you or other assessors who are experts in the same IT discipline as you albeit working in another industry sector.
Registrations available are:
- Chartered IT Professional (CITP)
