We are recruiting for an Apprenticeship EPA Co-ordinator (Part-time) to join our Apprenticeship EPA Team in a permanent capacity, working part-time from our Swindon offices close to the town centre and key transport links.

About the role

The administrative role supports the assessment of BCS products that require end-point assessment, the implementation of the SME recruitment, the selection and training programme, and the programme of SME community engagement and global availability scheduling.

In this role the Apprenticeship EPA Co-ordinator facilitates the quality assurance process for the standards and qualifications delivered by BCS.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensuring applications requiring an end point assessment for all BCS products are scheduled and carried to all given SLA’s;
  • Manage the SME recruitment and selection procedure; ensuring the smooth running of the application informing the relevant parties for reviews where necessary. Identifying next steps and providing feedback to applicants;
  • Communicate with the community of SME’s produce community newsletters using dot mailer, consistently sharing of information with the relevant communities to keep them up to date with business needs and engaged with BCS;
  • Provide specialist advice and guidance to SME’s, be first point of contact to answer procedural questions and provide support post-training;
  • Lead and facilitate regular online link up sessions with SME Community;
  • Co-ordinate SME training and eLearning. Keep track of progress and completion of SME training. Co-ordinate the completion and evaluation of case studies where relevant;
  • Oversee the maintenance of the SME register’s; Monitor SME quality identifying any training needs;
  • Organise Panel meetings and forums for the relevant parties as required;
  • Support external representation of BCS Operations team via participation at workshops held by third parties and other Professional Institutions;
  • Manage complex SME availability on a global scale;
  • Be first point of expertise for the SME community, building close relationships with this community;
  • Implement and manage a Recognition Programme;
  • Ensure that complete confidentiality is maintained, and applicants’ personal information is treated accordingly;
  • Work to all policies, standards and procedures within SLA’s, KPI’s, BCS regulations and third parties’ regulations;
  • Processing of all relevant payments to the SME communities when required;
  • Flexibility is required of all job holders to adjust responsibilities as required from time to time by their Line Manager / Divisional Director;

Who we are looking for

Education and qualifications
  • Educated to A level standard or equivalent
Experience
  • Considerable experience working in administration within a demanding environment where high standards are expected;
  • Considerable experience in working with complex administrative processes;
  • Proven experience of working with significant SME communities, an understanding of the different type of working relationships;

  • Able to confidently deal with senior people over the phone and in person;
  • Resilient and tenacious when dealing with a variety of situations;

Special conditions
