Help us make a difference by becoming part of our strategic boards and committees.
We are keen to see applications from candidates who may not see themselves currently represented in the volunteer structure of BCS. This may be in terms of the professional roles / sectors of those serving currently, but we are keen to see more applications from (but not limited to) women, ethnic minority groups, people with disabilities, the LGBTQ+ community and neurodiverse people.

Honorary Officer vacancies
The Honorary officers of BCS comprises of the President, Deputy President and Vice-Presidents which are voluntary positions.
Vice-President positions normally incorporate the chairing of one of the strategic boards and the President chairs the Trustee Board. The Nominations Committee is mandated to carry out the recruiting for these positions.
Registrar are sourcing candidates to fill the following Honorary Officer vacancies:
- Deputy President 2025 – 2026
- Vice-President Finance/Chair, Risk, Audit & Finance Committee 2025 – 2028
- Vice-President/Chair, Registration and Standards Committee 2025 – 2028
- Vice-President, Trustee Director, BCS Learning and Development Ltd 2025 – 2028
BCS Schools and Colleges Committee
The BCS Academy of Computing Board is looking for experienced individuals with a commitment to computing education to join the membership of the Schools and Colleges Committee (formerly The School Curriculum and Assessment Committee).
