Available to members who hold a UK bank or building society account, Direct Debit gives you peace of mind that your subscription is continuous, automatically renewing each year.

What’s more, a 5% discount is applied to your annual membership fee - this is applied every year providing your subscription is paid this way.

Set up a Direct Debit

    Call our Customer Service Department on +44 (0)1793 417424 between 8.15am and 5.45pm Monday to Friday (UK time).

The Direct Debit Guarantee

  • If the amounts to be paid or the payment dates change, the organisation (BCS) collecting the payment will notify you normally 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.
  • If an error is made by the organisation (BCS) or your UK bank or building society, you are guaranteed a full and immediate refund from your branch of the amount paid.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by contacting your UK bank or building society. It is also recommended that you notify the organisation (BCS) concerned.

BCS is one of the HMRC approved professional bodies. If you’re a UK tax payer, and pay your own membership fees you may be entitled to claim tax back on your membership subscription fee.
