Welcome to the BCS Lincolnshire Branch website.
The Lincolnshire Sub-Branch was inaugurated on 30 May 2006 as a sub-branch of the Nottingham and Derby Branch and became a full branch on 1 May 2007.
The BCS Lincolnshire Branch serves members of the BCS in the Lincolnshire area and beyond. Our aim is to provide both professional and social activities throughout the year.
Like most branches, it is hard for us to produce a calendar of events without the active involvement of members to both support the events and to help the committee in organising them. If you can help, please come along to any committee meeting, or get in touch with any committee member.
BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, promotes wider social and economic progress through the advancement of information technology science and practice. The Institute serves over 70,000 members including practitioners, businesses, academics and students, in the UK and internationally.
Lincolnshire Branch is part of a regional group of seven branches. The other six branches in the region are:
Nottingham and Derby Branch
Leicester Branch
North Staffordshire Branch
Birmingham Branch
Coventry Branch
Wolverhampton Branch
