Building Capability, Contacts and Cut-through for Entrepreneurs
Make real change in 2015 at Healthtech Startup School.
Healthtech is an industry that has extremely high rewards both financially and personally. Nevertheless, with seemly high barriers to entry, healthtech has often been perceived as an area that is difficult for startups and entrepreneurs to flourish, with many citing the need for relevant and easy-to-access information, support and guidance.
HSS returns to bridge the gap between ideas and startup success. HSS is up-skilling participants so that they are market ready. It’s the touch point of the healthtech entrepreneurial ecosystem which will provide you with valuable contacts, point you to resources you need to access now and teach you real world knowledge to progress your business concept through iterative learning cycles.
HSS is designed for entrepreneurs that have a business concept or early-stage business - if you have a business model, an early product, your first couple of customers, or some early revenues, HSS can be of value. Fellow entrepreneurs and successful corporates will share their expertise, experience and energy in a professional and open setting, to help equip delegates with the skills and knowledge they need to build their own businesses.
This year there will be eight workshops, curated by successful healthtech entrepreneurs and corporate professionals, ensuring delegates gain personal insight and develop skills in:
In addition to introducing our brand new session on ‘How to make it happen’, HSS 2015 will for the first time formalise aspects of mentoring which were inherent in our first course. There will be four business clinics which will translate the experiential learning from the eight workshops into practical hands-on advice. The clinics will help you crystallise your ideas and test your business models through iterative learning cycles which are supported by our experienced entrepreneurs. The HSS business clinics will allow you to test your plans for:
The workshops will be held on 8 consecutive Monday nights at the techUK offices between 6.00pm - 8.00pm. You can now also stream the sessions live via our online stream booking option.
