Branches hold regular meetings in their locale, on a diverse set of subjects within the field of IT.
They enable BCS members to maintain contact with other professionals in their area, keep abreast of current developments and have a real input to BCS.
BCS members may select up to 3 Branches they wish to join by updating their detailsor contacting Branches Liaison and they will then receive regular emails from their chosen Branch(es) as long as our records hold their current email address.
The majority of Branch events are free to BCS members and provide an ideal opportunity for members to continue their Professional Development. Non-members are also welcome to attend Branch events.
BCS International Sections aim to provide a local organization for members of BCS and to further the interests of BCS in the geographical area concerned.
To become affiliated with up to 3 International Sections (or UK Branches) please do so. Our database will be noted accordingly and you will then receive information from your Section on future events.
Our UK Branches and International Sections rely heavily on volunteer effort, so if you would like to get involved with your local Committee activities please contact the relevant Branch or Section.
Alternatively, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be pleased to put you in touch with your nearest committee.
