This BCS Entrepreneurs event aims to encourage entrepreneurs to create viable businesses from their creative ideas and inform young professionals of the opportunities start-ups can present early on in their career development.

We hope to provoke discussion and create a great networking opportunity for members of the burgeoning London tech community.

The Start-up Kids is a documentary featuring the stories of young web entrepreneurs who have succeeded in building some of the enterprises that are shaping our landscape. The film contains interviews with the founders of Soundcloud, Dropbox, Vimeo, Playfish, Rainmakers, Kiip, InDinero, Foodspotting and many others who talk about their experiences launching a start-up and their lives as an entrepreneur.

The Start-up Kids was made by two Icelandic entrepreneurs, Vala Halldorsdottir and Sesselja Vilhjalmsdottir, who founded their first company shortly after the economic collapse of Iceland and wanted to motivate other young people to become entrepreneurs.
