Martin ReedThe relevance of Open Badges as opposed to other forms of CPD are discussed. The experience of Martin Reed using open badges with students at various levels of undergraduates at Southampton Solent University, to encourage non-assessed participation are discussed.. The practical issues in starting this approach are discussed - including the advantages and disadvantages from the perspective of both the students and of the lecturer.
