Synopsis

The ability to analyse business needs is an essential skill if we are to ensure that organisations focus their resources and investment funds on solving the root causes of problems.

Business analysis skills are often overlooked when applying agile approaches yet a lack of business analysis can lead to unforeseen consequences during the development and deployment of business changes and software solutions.

Lynda and Debra discuss their new book Agile and Business Analysis and explain why business analysis is relevant on all types of information systems projects.

The discussion closes with a panel session with Lynda, Debra and Peter Thompson.
