What I do:
- responsible for managing, developing and implementing the marketing strategy for the EMEA region;
- developed European marketing plans for financial services, telecommunications and utility sectors;
- assisted in growing EMEA revenue from 12 per cent to 23 per cent of total revenue over four years while Mobius;
- contributed over $100m to sales pipeline in first half of 2008 from marketing campaigns.
Market positioning
- develop EMEA-specific positioning for key vertical markets;
- confidently communicate Mobius and ASG positioning to press, analysts and sales teams.
Marketing communications
- manage the PR function in the UK, France and Germany;
- manage analyst relations with regular vendor briefing updates to the analysts at Gartner Group, Ovum, Butler Group, Bloor Research and Strategy Partners
- partner/ channel marketing;
- I work closely with the director of EMEA channel sales to develop a partner marketing strategy for the region. Currently managing partners and alliance in the absence of director of Alliances
- launched alliances with key partners to tackle regulatory challenges for MiFID (Open MiFID Alliance) and ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC Alliance).
Lead generation
- run campaigns in up to five languages across the EMEA region;
- manage the outsourced telemarketing function;
- plan and manage participation at specific trade shows and also run successful roundtable dinners and breakfast briefings for prospects in the financial services sector.
