Our innovation transforms the management of IT and Network services, using artificial intelligence technology to remove substantial costs whilst improving customer service. Our system uses artificial intelligence to automatically learn how customer services are dependent on the myriad of underlying infrastructure and software components. These rules are applied in the live environment to predict failures before they happen and to diagnose and fix problems. The system has impressive results, is developed from UK research, with a patent filed this March.

Change Management Toolkit - Smartcore
This application, for the BCS Internet Product of the Year, is from Lloyds Banking Group and Ninth Wave Limited. The product is the bank’s Change Management Toolkit (CMT), built entirely using Ninth Wave’s SmartCore solution. CMT provides change management, reporting and governance processes for 8,000 users across all business units of the bank. SmartCore is a UK developed, web-based, highly adaptive platform allowing distributed users to collaborate and share both information and process in a controlled knowledge management environment.

Leicestershire Constabulary Mobile Data Project
Point to Point would like to submit our Mobile Data project at Leicestershire Police for the Mobile Product of the year award. Funded by the NPIA, the objective was to allow Officers access to applications while “on the beat” reducing the amount of time spent in the office. The solution we provided turned the Officer’s car into a mobile office, where the Officer’s desktop was delivered to a mobile device mounted in the Police vehicle.
The software development team within Cordia (Services) LLP undertook the challenge of developing an application to wirelessly and securely provide all back- office homecare data to the handheld BlackBerry devices already used by frontline homecare workers for its 8,500 clients.
The application known as "e-router" provides the following functionality:
- Changes in client circumstances automatically routed to frontline manager/ coordinator responsible.
- Changes acknowledged
- Full client search
- Personal care, GP, contact, risk, background, functionality ability and referral details.

The Enterprise Calculation Framework is a calculation automation and tracking environment for data analysts, scientists, and engineers. Compatible with spreadsheets, symbolic math worksheets and programming languages, the Framework automates and manages complicated workflows independently across workbooks and calculation tools. Based on innovative research, this pioneering software product revolutionises user experience wherever complex desktop mathematical calculations are required. Using a unique calculation as a service concept, the Framework can be offered as a subscription based Cloud service, or a desktop application.
OpenWEB: Integrated Environmental Modelling
In order to understand how pressures such as climate change and developments impact the environment we need model not just physical, chemical and biological parameters, but how these parameters interact to affect the whole system. Environmental systems couple many natural processes and simulating them accurately demands modelling them in a similar fashion. OpenWEB is an HR Wallingford initiative researching and implementing integrated computer modelling approaches with a community of users working together to make simulation of environmental systems a reality.
