HP unveils new business notebooks

Leading technology firm HP has announced the launch of a new range of business notebooks aimed at 'boosting performance and productivity' in the small business sector.

The launch comes as part of a revamp of the organisation's notebook PC line-up, which will see new designs offering improved quality and reliability.

Dan Forlenza, vice-president of business notebooks at HP's personal systems group, commented: 'HP is the market leader in business notebooks and we have raised the bar with a completely revamped line of business-grade notebooks.

'Our all-metal EliteBooks meet military standards and will surpass customer expectations in durability.'

The expert claimed the company's new 'FORGE' design framework will mean its HP devices 'embody a timeless construction'.

New products included in the range are the HP EliteBook 8460p and 8560p notebook which both feature an aerospace-inspired HP DuraCase that meets military-standard testing specifications which mean it is better-equipped to withstand wear and tear.
