Great idea but my personal experience of internships is that they are open abuse by unscrupulous employers exploiting graduates to get free labour. Regardless of what the job is they should be paid, this is currently a loophole in employment law. What safeguards are in place in enternships to discourage / prevent unpaid internships?

I thought it was a very good video. I would be happy to help but I am now 64 years of age and live in Inner London!

    Thanks everyone for your comments/feedback/support!

@Roy - I think its important to note that not all internships are unpaid. On our site we find the majority of roles are actually paid and those which may initially be 'expenses only' often convert to a FT role/paid position. We provide a lot of advice/support to employers via our blog (http://blog.enternships.com) and Resource Zone accessible via http://www.enternships.com with casestudies/tips etc. We also welcome feedback from candidates to flag any issues of unscrupulous employers.
