YPG leads the way with festive cheer

The YPG FestiveNetworking event held on December 19, 2006, organised by the YPG National Committee, was deemed a resounding success as attendees celebrated Christmas cheer with fellow YPG members at the exclusive venue of No. 5 Cavendish Square in London.

Festive networking from 06 The concept behind the event was to provide a setting for members interested in social networking to openly exchange professional experiences across a vast array of business domains and share insights on career development.

Many attendees cited the networking-focussed aspect of the evening and the intriguing choice of venue as their two key reasons for attending.

Some members travelled from as far as Nottingham, Cambridge and Norwich because they felt the nature of the event, along with the opportunity to visit London at Christmas time, combined to create a compelling proposition.

One member, Ed Phillips, based in Farnham, said that the most enjoyable aspect of the evening was the relaxed atmosphere in which members were able to mingle with one another.

Jen Hewitt, one of the organisers of the event, said, 'It was wonderful to see and meet such a mix of members all getting to know each other in an informal setting. I hope everyone had as much fun as I had and that they join me in looking forward to the next YPG event.'

The YPG will shortly be adding to the 2007 events programme. For further information on forthcoming events, go to: YPG Events
