  • Teodora Kaneva: Head of Smart Infrastructure and Systems at techUK.
  • Lara Suzuki: Head of the Data and AI practice for Google in the UK, and leader of the Smart Cities Working Group for Tech London Advocates.
  • Freddie Talberg: CEO and Founder of start-up company EMSOL (active in the space of implementing Smart Cities as well as transport, data and mapping SaaS offerings). 
  • Prof. Alan Penn: Professor of Architectural and Urban Computing UCL Bartlett School of Architecture (research focuses on understanding how the design of built environments affects patterns of social and economic behaviours of organisations and communities). 

Synopsis

In this panel discussion, we will be discussing various Smart City projects - both successes and failures. We will explore how Smart City solutions are being implemented, and how we should approach doing so in the most inclusive, resilient and sustainable way possible.
