Synopsis

The ISSG committee is committed to presenting a series of webinars delivered by early career professionals to contribute to the early careers agenda of the Institute. This webinar series consists of career stories and presentations/workshops delivered by Cyber Security Early Career Professionals from around the world.

Many factors influence how resilient a firm is to cyber attacks. Often overlooked in the security field are the business and cultural contexts that often define how significant incidents are. In this session the aim is to share industry views as part of a learning journey for those early in their career. Samuel will explore the technical development of an incident and the surrounding factors that could determine how well an organisation responds to it.

The session will be split into two sections. Firstly, starting with the presentation on incident response and followed by an overview of Samuel’s career development to date and insights he has gathered along the way.
