For many people data (and activities related to data) are either viewed as dull, a technical IT issue or something only nerds can understand or relate to. It is increasingly recognised that better data and better data exploitation can have a significant positive impact on the organisation; whilst doing data poorly increases risks and liabilities. It is critical that all stakeholders, including organisation leadership, are engaged in data discussions in order to generate the best outcomes.
