Getting Predictable Agile Delivery

Agile processes don’t insulate us from pressure to deliver projects on time. However, many organizations struggle to accurately forecast delivery dates and frequently fall behind schedule, leading to missed milestones and costly delays. To overcome this, it is critical to leverage the power of historical data to make more accurate predictions without hours of costly definition and estimation. Let’s explore practical strategies to harness past data to improve your forecasting capabilities, enabling your teams to consistently deliver projects on time.

Key points:

  • Leveraging historical data to create realistic project schedules that accommodate uncertainties.
  • Tools to create a stable system for consistent delivery.
  • Promoting the use of data-driven insights in prioritization and decision-making processes.
  • Applying iterative feedback loops to continuously improve forecasting accuracy.
