IRMA (Information Risk Management and Assurance) Group

Piece of a jigsaw puzzle

With over 64,000 members world-wide, the British Computer Society (BCS) is the leading professional and learned Society in the field of computers and information systems.

The Information Risk Management and Assurance (IRMA) Group supports practitioners in the areas of information systems risk management and audit, and promotes the awareness and use of computer auditing, control and risk management techniques.

IRMA holds regular technical briefings and arranges discounts for members on the cost of audit and security-related products, conferences and training courses. Members receive a quarterly journal, and may also attend the meetings of other non-BCS groups with similar aims.
