BCS Consultancy Group event

Date/Time:
Thursday 10 March 2011, 9.30am - 4.00pm

Venue:
Royal Holloway, University of London, Egham, Surrey, TW20 0EX | Directions

Summary:
The consultancy group is pleased to invite you to a joint event with students and staff of the MSc in Business Information Systems Programme (BIS) of the School of Management, Royal Holloway, University of London in Egham, Surrey, TW20 0EX.

The event will be an opportunity to interact with young IT and management professionals who are to present their project ideas to use information technologies in organisations.

There will be several project presentations followed by questions and answers in the morning (9:30 to 12:30 and 1:30 to 3:30pm). You are invited to participate in the Q & A session and provide your experience in proposing and implementing successful projects. You can then contribute to vote the best group project that will receive a prize.

We are seeking to value projects that are balanced or ‘hybrid’, in other words, those which provide a good technical solution responding to business needs. Examiners from the School of Management and Department of Computer Science will be assessing students not only on the content and delivery of their presentations, but also their ability to field questions from invited guests.

Car park space, lunch and drinks will be provided.

Places are limited, so if you are interested please let José-Rodrigo know as soon as possible at j.r.cordoba-pachon@rhul.ac.uk with your details (name, organisation, dietary needs, car park space needed) and availability (morning or afternoon sessions).
