The talk will discuss the challenges of delivering critical operational IT projects to support the emergency services. An example of a recently implemented application at the London Ambulance Service will be explored.

About the Speaker:

Jonathan is a project manager with 10 years experience running service improvement and IT enabled projects in the NHS. A PRINCE2, MSP and M_o_R practitioner, LEAN consultant and Six-Sigma black-belt he has implemented a varied project portfolio in that time including the national Connecting for Health application Choose and Book, care process redesign through outpatient clinics, pre-assessment and theatres and corporate process redesign across the London Ambulance Service. His most recent responsibility was the transition in the LAS Emergency Operations Centre to a new computer-aided dispatch system, Command Point.
