BCS Gaming Night

Date:
Monday 20 February 2006

Time:
Starting 6.00pm until 9.00pm

Venue:
University of Southampton, Zepler Building, UG labs, which is in Building 59 on Salisbury Road. A map is found at http://www.soton.ac.uk/about/campusmaps/highfieldmap.html

As the number of players is limited, please contact Eddy Cullen at eac203@ecs.soton.ac.uk, with a copy to rp05r@ecs.soton.ac.uk to book your place, indicating if you are a BCS member, and indicating your skill in the proposed game.

The event is free, but all must be at least 18 years of age, and places must be booked.

The game is called Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and there will be 2 teams at a time playing against each other.

Each team is made up of 8 people selected at random on Monday. 32 people maximum can play, everyone else can just be spectators (they can watch the games on a separate machine).

There will be 2 rounds per match, each round is 20 minutes (i.e. each match is 40 minutes long) so the event should last a total of 3 hours, to identify the winning team.
