Important announcement: Higher Education Qualifications (HEQ)

BCS HEQ is now fully retired.  Please read the full announcement for further details and key dates.

There are no current plans to extend the retirement date of HEQ and therefore HEQ will retire in April 2026 as scheduled. 

The Higher Education Qualifications (HEQ) will still be a recognised and valid qualification after the portfolio has been retired. HEQ results will remain available online through the MyBCS portal and certificates can still be requested from the BCS Customer Service team.

BCS qualifications have given thousands of students access to rewarding and dynamic careers within the global IT sector and we continue to offer many qualifications.
