BCS and FEDIP have launched the new Associate Practitioner qualification for entry level professionals working in Health and Social Care Informatics.

This new level is an excellent way to begin developing within the informatics field and the first step on the path to professional registration, which demonstrates competence in the field.

If you are performing a range of routine activities in varied environments, employing relevant cognitive and practical skills to complete well-defined, generally routine tasks, then you’ll be able to apply.

To achieve FEDIP Associate Practitioner, candidates just need to demonstrate that they are employed within a Health and Social Care Informatics role, which will enable them to join the FEDIP Register for two years.

If you are starting out on your Health and Social Care Informatics Career Associate Practitioner is for you.

If you are an experienced Health and Social Care Informatician and want to become registered immediately to demonstrate your commitment to professional development, whilst working towards a higher level of registration, then Associate Practitioner is also for you.
