The first Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the SERG will be held on Monday 3 October 2011. You will hear about your SERG accomplishments to date and vote for the committee officers. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for Chair, Treasurer or Secretary, YPG Rep, Education Liaison or the Women's Group please contact Salimah LaForce.

The agenda for the meeting is as below:

1. Apologies for Absence
2. Officer's reports:
2.1 Chairperson’s Annual Report - summary of section events, achievements, successes, difficulties, acknowledgement of Committee members’ efforts, partnerships, etc
2.2 Treasurer - year end summary of allocation spending and allocation for new financial year
2.3 Secretary - attendance at meetings, current membership, new members, enquiries, etc
3. Committee reports
3.1 Education Liaison - work with local schools, colleges, universities
3.2 Young Professionals Rep - YP update on events, interest, membership, etc
4. Committee 2011/2012 - elections (proposed and seconded)
5. Programme 2010/2011 - ideas, speakers, venues
6. Any Other Business
7. Date of next Committee meeting - 2 November 2011, 2.00pm - 3.00pm
8. Date of next AGM.
