• what tools to use

• what the NHS can learn from data migrations in other industries

• their experiences of large scale data migrations in the NHS

There will also be demonstrations of tools during the breaks from the key players in the market including: Egress, Integris, Stalis and Metadataworks

Speaker: Johny Morris

Johny is a recognised thought leader, with over 20 years' experience, in the business transformation space,  and is the author of “Practical Data migration” (published by the BCS and soon to be released in its third edition).
He has project managed and successfully delivered data migrations across many industry verticals – insurance, banking, utilities, not for profit, media, government, etc. and is currently advising on a migration for the Human Fertility and Embryology Authority (HFEA).
He has worked on all scales of project up to thousands of direct users and hundreds of legacy systems.  At this event he will be sharing this experience with you so that you too can be assured of zero-defect migrations.

Speaker: John Turley
John is a pragmatic leader with 25 years’ experience working in companies at all levels, from teams to c-suite, bringing real, value-adding change to the way organisations really work.  Dissatisfied with the standard discourse around transformation and agility he is passionate about applying cutting-edge knowledge from fields as diverse as complexity, sociology and psychology in practical, proven ways that immediately increase productivity at the same time as embedding continuous learning in ways of working.
