Jonathan will present and discuss Connecting Cumbria, UK Government policy and the available technology, Digital Borderlands and 4G and 5G.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES
Speaker: Jonathan Harris
Jonathan Harris has over 25 years of experience working in the ICT industry holding a number of senior positions including IT Director for a multi-national support services company and IT Programme Director for a FTSE100 PLC. Jonathan currently manages the Connecting Cumbria superfast broadband programme that aims to provide a minimum of 24Mbps download speeds in areas of the county that will not be covered commercially which are typically rural, or increasingly deeply rural in nature. Jonathan also has a broader digital infrastructure role within Cumbria County Council including acting as technical lead for the Digital Borderlands initiative as well 4G and 5G mobile technology.’--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
