SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES
Steve is a consultant in Sexual Health & HIV, Clinical Director of eHealth for NHS Grampian and a Clinical Lead for the NES Digital Service. He trained in Medicine and Cell Biology in Glasgow and worked in England and Australia before arriving in Aberdeen in 2003. Steve gained an MSc in Healthcare Informatics in 2008 and a PG Dip in Digital Health Leadership in 2019.

He is lead author of NHS Grampian’s Digital Health & Care Strategy. In the NES Digital Service he is helping to build the National Digital Platform - as trailed in Scotland’s Digital Health & Care Strategy. He is currently involved in NHS Grampian’s digital response to the coronavirus pandemic and has been supporting and observing developments taking place elsewhere in the country.
