About the speakers

Dr Elsa Zekeng, Senior Consultant Guidehouse Consulting

Dr Elsa is a scientist with a PhD in Infectious Diseases and Global Health, an entrepreneur and an advocate. Applying her public speaking, research, analytical skills as well as business astuteness, negotiation and project management skills in Life Science Strategy consulting. Alongside this, she frequently advocates for equality and equity in access to medicines and Healthcare and plays a strategic role as a Non-executive Director of organisations to support executive members to reach their organisations' goals while ensuring that their services serve and include a diverse population.

Charlie Fadden, Vice Chair BCS EMBRACE

Charlie is passionate about developing and maximising a culture of evaluation, learnings and improvement which respects the human being as a person, drives more effective ways of working to support business strategy, enabler of customer satisfaction (retention), enhancing reputation and increasing profitability. As Vice Chair, Charlie is responsible for; strategy, Industry partnerships, sponsorships and co-governance

David Lewis, Treasurer

David is CEO and Chair of PMI Consult group of companies specialising in banking and financial services, and specialising in ERP and ICT resource solutions. He is also Treasurer of BCS London Central Group and committee member of the BCS Financial Services Special Interest Group (FINSIG). As Treasurer, David is responsible for; financial reporting, budgets and accounting.

Daniel Ekiyoyo, Secretary

Daniel Ekiyoyo has years of Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Project Management, Business Analysis, Software Architectural Design and Development experience. He has specialised in Financial and Banking technologies. His specialties are Financial, Real-time Enterprise-level, Cloud systems architecture and design.

Kamal Lakhpuri, Industry Liaison

Kamal is an experienced strategic digital health IT professional who has worked with clients across the UK, Europe, Middle East, India and North America for over 15 years. She is an electronic medical/patient record (EMR/EPR) enthusiast and has supported clients on their digital and maturity journey, to enterprise-wide solutions and population health. As Industry Liaison, Kamal is responsible for forming partnerships with businesses, organisations and public bodies.

Obi Ossai, YPG Representative/Early Careers Advocate

Obi is a Product Owner, with a strong aptitude for Data Analytics / Science. As a certified Business Analyst with relevant experience in roles as a Product Owner, Functional Consultant and Business Analyst, developing both B2B and B2C SaaS products, he has built up a unique skillset that enables him to effect change and deliver value in a data-driven technology environment. As YPG representative, Obi is responsible for engaging with youth audiences.

Joel Baynes, Sustainability Lead

Joel is a NED, Mentor, Advisor and COO. He helps join the dots. Designing and implementing new teams, systems and partnerships. He has enjoyed working in marketing technology, data science, entertainment and government sectors. He likes being a catalyst, an evangelist, building relationships that help make stuff happen and driving business and people growth. He has a passion for good people, good music, both kinds of football and shooting hoops.

Amechi Ogbuefi, Projects Delivery Officer

Amechi is a competent and enthusiastic self-starter with years experience in banking and finance industries as well as statutory and third sector. He is the Finance Administrator at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. He has worked as an Administrator, Customer service staff, Research Analyst amongst others across several firms over the past 15 years before being onboarded to his current role as a Finance Administrator.
