Synopsis
The EVA Conferences have always created a space for people using, or interested in, the new technologies in the arts and to share their experiences and network in a friendly, collaborative atmosphere.
EVA London’s focus is on the development and application of visualisation technologies to various domains, including art, music, dance, theatre and the sciences.
For 2023, our 33rd year, the annual conference will again be held in mid-July. We are delighted to retain the hybrid mode post-pandemic since this continues to broaden our worldwide contacts among academics and researchers.
EVA London 2023 will feature 60 presentations and demos online from our wider group of international authors and some exciting keynotes and evening events.
In hybrid mode, with the BCS cutting-edge technology, we can stream live and mix in-person and online speakers, sharing similar contacts and interests. Those unable to come to London in person will be able to interact, question and discuss ideas with our other attendees.
Our Registration Fee structure allows for a One Day (£110), Three Day (£220) or Five Day (£270) full attendance at BCS London in Moorgate, including an exciting programme of early evening events.
We also offer those who cannot attend in person to join us Online for a flat £110 fee.
We also have added a Hybrid registration to join us in person to present your paper at the One Day rate and then enjoy the other four days online with a 50% discount (£55 Total £160). Those registering for any 3 or 5 days can have an Online link gratis for their institution.
All fees include VAT at 20%, and booking will be via Eventbrite only.
All successful authors will have their papers uploaded and accessible on the prestigious ScienceOpen Academic website in accordance with their fee structure. To assist all of our authors, we will maintain last year’s publishing rates for 2023, but regrettably, this may have to alter for 2024. Additionally, Full-Colour Conference Hardcopy Proceedings can be pre-ordered to pick up from Moorgate during the conference or posted worldwide if you cannot attend.
EVA London is a conference of the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, Computer Arts Society (CAS). It is sponsored and supported by this organisation. We believe that EVA London will likely to run in some sort of Hybrid Mode for many years into the future so that we can become more inclusive with a greater range of academics and researchers worldwide.
