Synopsis

This talk covers the inner story of how Kotlin was created and developed. It covers both technical and management aspects of making this project successful.

About the speaker

Andrey Breslav

Andrey Breslav was in charge of creating Kotlin and led the design and development efforts for it at JetBrains from 2010 till 2020.

He was also the President of the Kotlin Foundation and represented JetBrains on the design committees for Java 8 and Java 9.
