Synopsis
Building and scaling AI systems in the real world comes with unique challenges like handling traffic surges, managing data drift and ensuring system reliability.
This session will explore how micro-service architectures can help overcome these hurdles by separating the model-serving layer from the system integration layer to enable scalable, modular and resilient AI systems.
We will talk about strategies for coordinating scaling between components, managing dependencies across teams, designing robust APIs and implementing effective error-handling mechanisms.
We will also cover performance monitoring and maintaining long-term system reliability.
Whether you are managing AI pipelines, scaling distributed architectures or developing AI applications, this session will provide insights to help design systems that are adaptable, reliable and built to succeed in dynamic environments.
About the speaker
Mayank Jindal is a software engineer with 5 years of experience.
His primary focus has been on improving automation using AI-based techniques and building scalable software around that.
He has hands-on experience in building machine learning models, deploying them in production environments and monitoring their performance to prevent potential issues.
Mayank has worked with major cloud technologies and gained expertise in building cloud-based microservices. He has experience in both machine learning and software engineering which enables him to design and develop scalable solutions.
He also had the privilege of speaking at tech conference and podcasts which allowed him to share his knowledge and insights with a wider audience.
He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
Currently located in the United States, he will be presenting his talk over a remote link.
