The aims of BCS Surrey aims to support technology professionals and educators in the local business community. Our primary goal is to establish and maintain a support network for students and professionals new to the technology field or seeking to further their knowledge and expertise.
To achieve this, we will provide a series of CPD-focused seminars that address current and emerging practices in technology. We will also create a resource hub that shares and celebrates the best and emerging practices in technology. This resource hub will contain links to regulatory bodies, research groups, and organisations that can aid in career development.
Additionally, we will establish a mentoring network of senior technology professionals to mentor and support the career development of new technology professionals. These mentors will include experienced individuals such as CTOs, senior developers, and technology executives who can share their insights and experience.
BCS Surrey will also support technology professionals applying for membership in other professional bodies or additional qualifications within the BCS.
Promote, inspire, and facilitate more women in tech, especially growing to senior positions.
We are excited to provide a supportive community for technology professionals and educators in the business community and look forward to supporting your career development in this exciting and rapidly evolving field.
