Member Group Elections to Council for 2027-2030
On Thursday, 15 October 2026, from noon GMT, BCS will open the call for nominations for election to the BCS Council from Member Groups’ constituencies.
BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, supports the IT profession and promotes the positive role of technology in society. A strong profession with the right skills is important for the UK's future.
As part of our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, we encourage applications from all members who are interested in joining the Council.
Serving on the Council is a chance to help guide BCS and shape the future of the profession.
We will publish candidate statements before voting opens. Voting by Member Groups will take place in February.
Eligible voters for the constituencies listed below will receive separate election communications from those sent to professional members.
The election results will be announced at the BCS AGM on Wednesday 3 March 2027.
