I look forward to continuing to support BCS and the profession as Immediate Past President.”

Sarah Winmill also said: “I’d like to thank Daljit for his leadership and commitment to BCS during his presidential year, and I’m pleased he will continue to support BCS as Immediate Past President. BCS has a vital role to play at a moment when technology is shaping almost every aspect of daily life. As President, my priority is to strengthen public confidence in the people who design, build and deploy that technology. Professional standards, ethics and continual learning are not ‘nice to haves’, they are essential if tech is to deliver real benefit for society.
