RAF Cyberspace awarded BCS Platinum Approved Organisation status

BCS Platinum Approved Organisation Status celebrates organisations that demonstrate mature, embedded professional standards, strong leadership commitment, and clear pathways for digital, data and technology specialists to grow, gain accreditation and contribute to the wider profession. It is the highest level of recognition within the BCS Approved Organisation Programme. 

In recognition of RAF Cyberspace reaching Platinum status, Sharron Gunn, BCS CEO, and Nicole Symes Frazer MBCS met with Dr Arif Mustafa MSc, PhD, FBCS, Director Digital Information and CIO, Squadron Leader Pip Lloyd-Williams, Warrant Officer Matt Cryer and Flight Sergeant Sav Savage, to formally present a plaque at RAF High Wycombe.

RAF Cyberspace represents the backbone of the RAF’s digital infrastructure. Made up of 2500 dedicated tech professionals, responsibilities include undertaking the planning, installation, maintenance and recovery of communication equipment, supporting the networks that are required for communication and playing a vital role in the ability to complete missions worldwide.
