SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY

Kostas Bonikos is a data scientist with more than 10 years’ experience in extracting meaning from data under the many names this activity has had since. He holds degrees in physics and economics from Strathclyde and Swansea and works as the Principal Solutions Architect for EMEA & APAC for RapidMiner Ltd. In his words, his work has been a mixture of science, management consulting, sales and psychotherapy. He is obsessed with learning and thinks everyone should try to read Peter Drucker, use Linux and practice mindfulness.

His interests include philosophy, physics, artificial intelligence, vintage computing, law and the liberal arts.
