AI – once the stuff of science fiction – is rapidly becoming a part of everyday life and business. Chris will talk about the current state of commercial AI adoption and Intel’s efforts to democratize and simplify access to AI, including developments in hardware platforms and also software initiatives including the OneAPI project – an open, unified programming model to simplify AI development across best of breed heterogeneous hardware platforms.
About the speakers
Chris Feltham is a technical specialist (Cloud & AI) at Intel with 20+ years’ experience in the technology industry including 15+ years in the European server and data centre arena.
Chris is responsible for technical engagement with leading Cloud Service Providers, shaping their usage of Intel technology to deliver leading and differentiated services. Particular focus on general-purpose compute, accelerators including FPGAs, storage technologies including NVMe & persistent memory, and emerging services around Deep & Machine Learning.
