About the speaker

Andy Edwards

Andy Edwards has previously presented to the Corporate IT Forum (CITF) and has kindly agreed to present to the Notts & Derbys branch of the BCS, this evening.

Andy is an information technology expert skilled in the Cloud, Big Data, IT Strategy and Digitisation, with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry.

His current work focus is around public Cloud, microservice architecture and Industrial IoT. At heart, Andy is a lover of complex problems and IT just happens to have some of the best.

Andy Edwards is a colleague to another of our speakers, Paul Stevens, working for a large international utility company, where he is Head of Platform Operations; responsible for cloud platform operation and design, with a main focus around Docker, Kubernetes, IoT and Cloud Automation.
